For three decades, Atlanta Gear Works has provided custom gearboxes and gearbox repair to some of the biggest names in North American industry. When company owners decided their marketing could better reflect the company they had become, we had a half-day brainstorm. The result was a total rebrand – new tagline, website and corporate brochure, along with their first concentrated public relations program. At every single customer touchpoint, we consistently showed that AGW isn’t just a manufacturing company. It’s a service company, best summed up by the new tagline: “Geared up to keep you running.”
The website homepage video features a plant supervisor walking away as all the things that can cause a gearbox to fail – and cost him his job – scroll over him. The headline says: “Anything can cause a gearbox to fail. We’ll do anything to get it up and running again.” This is the story we tell in all of our communications, including PR, which resulted in a company feature in the Number 1 trade publication in the industry.
